overall a good product
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I bought these dumbbell bars about a year ago. They work just fine for my purposes – I have a simple “home gym” with these dumbbells, an exercise mat, and a chin-up bar. The screws that hold the weights on the end do come loose a bit because it’s metal-on-metal with no rubber, so the weights rattle and spin a little, but the threaded ends of the bar are long enough that the screw won’t fall off unless you are stacking more than 3 plates on each side (if you use 10-lb plates, that’s like 60 lbs per dumbbell. If you’re lifting that much, you should probably invest in nicer equipment anyway).

Basic inexpensive bar….

The price was right, but sharp edges on the lock nuts, no rubber lock washer to hold weights tight, and a sharp knurling on the bar itself make them less than ideal, particularly if you use them with a lot of weight.

Great Dumbbells

I have owned thes quite some time. Sure I could nitpick, but I have paid much more for the very same quality. I would never spend more for standard sets again, very satisfied. Amazon rocks!

When I bought this product, it was suppose to be BRAND NEW. I got a USED product, sealed in a crappy package that was pre-opened before me. I’m sorry, did I NOT pay for a brand new product? To further assist my statement, one of dumbbell closers was messed up so it wouldn’t go all the way in. When I looked inside of it, it was a messed up, scratched, and in a really bad shape. THIS IS A NEW PRODUCT?
You deserve one star. The worst thing I’ve bought on Amazon, and it surely not Amazon … whomever I bought this from know who they are. I’ll never do business with them … ever.

Weider Chrome plated steel dumbbells

Minor chrome flaking off thread area with initial weight plate changes, but this ceased after first workout. Solid equipment for a good price.

not a good pair of dumbells
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
these dumbells don’t hold the weights properly. one minute you are exercising, the other minite the weight are half way to falling on the ground, or your foot. however, Amazon was kind enough to give me a refund. I paid 13$ to ship them back and get my refund. biggest waste of money.Weider Chrome EZ Spin-Lock Dumbbell Bar
