Yes, the neoprene sleeves will spin on the handles if a weight is on and you don’t squeeze.
The biggest problem is the handles are too small in diameter. I had a Bob Hoffman wooden wrist roller about 45 years ago that was two inches or more in diameter. When you roll the bigger diameter thing up, your forearms burn.
It’s like they made the thing to be as easy as possible to roll up.
Get something 2 inches in diameter, a piece of rope, and make your own.

Perfect
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is exactly what I was looking for. I had a very similar roller at my gym (Club One) and loved it, but left the gym a while ago.
A previous reviewer states that this product might be useless without the weight attachment. Don’t worry, it comes with it, and it works perfectly. I interchange standard-sized weights all the time… have tested with up to 30lbs (30lbs is KILLER on your wrists, and I’m a fairly strong man)
If you want a gym-quality wrist roller, BUY THIS NOW!

Missing a part
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Both the original order and the attempted re-order were missing the same parts (the plate that holds the weights on the end of the rope and the nut that holds the plate on the bolt at the end of the rope) when the item arrived. I think that this is a design flaw in the packaging.

Cheap but effective

Used to have one of these in my gym. loved it so I bought my own. You can tell that this thing is not the highest quality. The rubber handles have a bit of slippage but otherwise works well. I have seen much better quality however, the price is right for what you get with this. I would reccomend it.

Poor Construction – hand grip glue doesn’t stick
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I was hesitant having seen reviews for this and similar looking and named wrist rollers for which customers posted reviews warning about the hand-grip glue. The VERY FIRST TIME I USED this wrist roller after receiving it one of the two hand-grips came unglued. Mind you this was with only 10 LBS attached to it. Beware!

good product

I’m happy I got my GoFit Wrist & Forearm Blaster. It came with all of its parts, the handles have not come loose, and they are comfortably padded. I do wrist curls and reverse wrist curls with dumbells, but this little item adds an entirely different exercise to the routine. The pump and burn you can get is incredible. If you don’t want to work out your frontal deltoids at the same time, use it while standing on a bench so you don’t have to hold your arms straight out front when you roll the weight up and down.

This item works big time. I lift weights all the time and this item just blew me away. It gives you a totally different workout than any thing in the gym.

An Excellent and Complete Forearm Exerciser
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This excellent accessory is not only a Wrist exerciser, but a complete Forearm Strengthener. Simple to use, with no spring or moving or breakable parts, it looks like it will resist the hardest workouts and continuous use.
I bought one eight months ago and I loved it. I use it at home and even at the gym, since it is small and very light, so it fits in my backpack taken about the same space than my gloves.
With simple rolling movements and as you gradually increase resistance by adding weight plates to it you strengthen hands, wrist, forearms and upper arms. I have considerably improved wrist stability and holding power, and also feel an Increased range of motion and flexibility

Be Careful, Read First
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Before ordering this accessory, please ask the seller if the plate that enables a weight to be attached to the rope is included with this exerciser, because if not it will be totally useless. I saw several complains and bad reviews about this very same accessory (GoFit GF-WFB Wrist & Forearm Blaster) so take that into account.
I bought a different wrist roller exerciser, manufacturer by proboxinggear about eight months ago and I loved it. The one I bought is really an excellent accessory, since is not only a Wrist exerciser, but a complete Forearm Strengthener. Good Product
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks and have nothing bad to say about it. The grips fel like they slip sometimes, but its not a big issue. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Good piece of equipment
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Very good product, but I do have one complaint. On my forearm blaster the black handling’s would not stay glued on well. They just spun in place and eventually I got so sick of it I just took them off and wrapped it with wrapping tape. This is working for me now, but for 20 bucks you think they would at least put a strong enough glue to make it so the handling’s don’t fall off or spin every time you use it.

Missing a Part
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Device arrived w/o the plate that enables a weight to be attached to the rope. Don’t bother trying to first get help from the manufacturer as Amazon.Com advised when I reported the problem to them. GoFit’s website doesn’t include an 800 number nor any way to contact them via the Internet. The device arrived w/o any manual, parts list, instructions or any information on how to contact them if you had a problem or question.

I Have Found That There are Better Options
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
From the previous reviews it seems that this product doesn’t deliver any satisfaction at all. Buy instead the wrist roller manufactured by proboxinggear.I bought one eight months ago and I loved it. I use it at home and even at the gym, since it is small and very light, so it fits in my backpack taken about the same space than my gloves.

good but….
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
…grip for one of the handles came loose and unless I have a death grip on it, it just spins in place, kinda undoes the effect you’re looking for with a wrist roller. I just glued it and am hoping it stays for a while.
