12 clearance from bracket to bar. Must drill 3/16 pilot hole prior to mounting bolts. This unit must be mounted into solid studs. If studs ar not 16 center line, a 2 x 6 wooden plate must be used for mounting. Four 3/8 x 4 lag bolts with washers included. Four grip covers. Unit is black. the bar arrived with chipping paint. mounting brackets are 32″ apart and my ceiling studs are 24″ apart. had to attach it to 2×6 boards then attach it to the ceiling. the perpendicular handles are also 32″ apart so it makes their use a little awkward; handles should be closer together.

HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE HAD TWO BOLTS MISSING, I EMAILED PACILLOS AND THEY SENT ME ALL NEW BOLTS,NUTS, AND SREWS TO ASSEMBLE THE PRODUCT WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS. WILL DO BUSINESS AGAIN.

Quality Chin-up Bar for unfinished basement

I purchased this pull up bar to compliment my home gym. This bar is made from solid construction piping and is very sturdy. The product comes with all the necessary hardware to mount to the ceiling however you will need a socket set and a power drill to pre-drill holes for the bolts. It was not hard at all to put up and I use it a couple times a week during my workouts. I would recommend this product to others.

Where is my pull up bar?

I was so excited when I ordered the ceiling mount pull up bar for my brother on June 10th. I paid $20 in shipping (3-5 business days). It has been 17 business days! Almost a month! I never received an e-mail about it being on back order? Are they made to order? I know I will be 100% satisfied with the product…if I ever get it!!!!
