Rated weight SAY WHAT?!

I will admit that I don’t actually own this item. However, I felt it worth writing this down so that any buyers can be aware of this.
This exact model (OB86) can be found on the Fitness Factory (the same place it ships from if you buy it on Amazon.com) website. Except it say it’s rated for 600lbs! (Amazon.com, at the time I am writing this say it’s 1000lbs!)
That’s a 400 pound difference.
And yes, that’s important for 2 reasons:
1 – If you intend to use a bar for a long time, you want the rated weight really high. Much higher than the maximum weight you intend to lift.
2 – What ELSE might be wrong with the listing of the item here at Amazon.com? Who knows.
I also checked the Body-Solid website for 0B86. Their weight rating? 600lbs again.
