This is a great workout. No dread factor at all in fact, its fun to do and when I’m finished I feel wonderful as opposed to some I have that leave me feeling drained. I will keep this one in my rotation for sure.

Great Workout!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I am always looking for workouts that I can do in a short amount of time, because I’m so busy. This workout fits that purpose perfectly. You can mix and match to create your ideal workout or use one of the pre-programmed workouts. I’ve done it both ways, and no matter what – you’re going to get a good workout in. I get bored easily, and this holds my interest. I’m already seeing results, so it’s fast, fun, and effective. Those are the most important things to me, and I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation. It is hands-down one of the best workout videos I have ever purchased. Give it a try!

One of my favorites!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Wow! I love this DVD. The cardio section is pretty lame, I’m not going to lie, but the rest of it is really good. They work muscles that other DVDs don’t and the first time I did it I was so sore! To make up for the short cardio I try to do 20 minutes of something else, but even if I don’t I still feel like I got a good workout.
I really like the variety. There are two workouts, one for dresses that highlight the upper body and one for dresses that draw attention to the lower body, otherwise you can create a workout doing the sections you feel like doing. I normally do all the sections for a total body workout. This DVD never bores me, and I keep reaching for it everytime I go to work out. This is one of the best purchases I have made.

So, my mom bought me this DVD as a joke because I just got engaged.
But it is honestly the best workout DVD I have come across yet!
The abs part really works you. The programmable workout feature is really great and allows you to do as much or little working out as you have time for.
Steps are easy to follow and after a few times working out to the DVD you really know the steps.
Highly recommended.

The “Wedding” Component? Packing Only
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Okay, so, i bought this video because — while I’m completely wedding obsessed and capable of spending five hours choosing, say, exactly the right ribbon for my DIY ceremony programs — I couldn’t seem to get off my butt and exercise. At. All. Lazy-ville! Only three months to the Big Day. So I wanted something that could translate my wedding obsession into workout motivation, ya know? Hey, presto! What could be more perfect than a wedding workout?? Right? The first let-down was that there’s basically nothing wedding-motivational about this workout, beyond one two-minute segment of boxing moves during which the instructor says something like, “That over-priced photographer? Pow! Knock ‘em out!” or something like that. Otherwise, there’s almost nothing said or done to tie it into the wedding theme. (In fact, the few times the packaging or the instructor mentions the wedding theme, it’s tempered by a message of “your big day whether it’s a wedding or a job interview or your high school reunion.” Kinda blah. Couldn’t they just go with the wedding theme, as promised?) Okay, so that’s my beef #1. Beef #2 is that the box says it’s a 50-minute workout … but it’s not! The pre-programmed workouts are only about half an hour. Which is only enough to barely break a sweat. (And believe me, I’m not a buff — or young! — bride. So if it’s a bit too easy for me, well…. This isn’t a butt-kicking workout. And it’s not 50 minutes. Well, if you customized it to do ALL of the mini-section options — or just to do the upper body or lower body but repeat every section twice — you could get up to 50 minutes. There are NOT some 20 options, as someone said above. There’s less than half that. It’s quite slim pickings, compared to other programable DVD workouts I’ve tried.) Also, note to brides: You need hand-weights to do this DVD. If you don’t have hand weights of 3 to 5 pounds, you’ll need to buy ‘em… an unexpected cost. Another beef, #3, is that there is very little specific direction in body placement. Usually, my workouts are yoga, so I’m accustomed to specific body-placement info… but this rarely goes beyond, like, “And lean to the left! Squeeze! And lean to the right!” etc. I think it’s better for both fitness and injury-prevention to have at least a BIT more specificity on how, exactly, your neck or hip or foot or whatever is supposed to be aligned. Finally, it kind of makes me LOL and ROLF and hah-hah-hah that the instructor on the video keeps saying stuff like, “Great work! You look great! Well done!” etc. Hello? You can’t see me! It’s silly. A video instructor can offer motivation and encouragement without pretending she can see thru the TV. All this said, this isn’t a bad workout. It’s not obnoxious, as so many are. It’s… okay. I hope it gets the job done!!!

Great toning and cardio workout
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Pros: Has different segments for upper and lower body, abs and a cardio section, toning sections are easy to follow and really work out your muscles, cardio is a real heartrate booster! The instructor is good and not too annoying, although you could make a drinking game out of her saying “Nice!” Cardio moves are easy to follow — has a short kick boxing inspired segment.
Cons: Cardio is pretty short, but it is challenging, so if you’re short on time (who isn’t?), this might be a really great workout for you.

I purchased this video so that I would have an alternative workout for going to gym on days when I just can’t find the time to get out of the house. I am very happy with it – the music is upbeat, the workouts get you sweating without making you hurt, and there is enough variety to keep you from getting bored. Three girls do all the workouts and although they are thin, it is the healthy toned kind of thin.
Enjoy!

I cannot stop using this video! I borrowed it from the library to see if I would like it and it is so addicting. I’m not getting married (I’ve been married for 7 yrs!) nor do I have a “special event” planned but I thought I would try it since I love Women’s Health magazine. I would totally recommend this workout dvd to beginners and advanced exercisers. I consider myself intermediate and I do the cardio 3 times by alternating between the arms, legs, and abs. That is what is so great about a programmable dvd. I love the instructor as well. She is very down to earth and enjoyable. The moves themselves aren’t very innovative yet they are effective. You will sweat and will be sore with this one!

Friendly, Effective, Do-Able Workout!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought this DVD along with a couple of others. The first one I put in (some boot camp type thing) was so fast paced that I was out of breath in less than five minutes and deeply discouraged. Then I put this one in. What a relief. The instructor-Marie Forleo- was fabulous, warm, friendly, and encouraging without being hokey (and I am a tough critic of trainers!). She made a challenging workout fun, do-able, and all the while exudes a genuine caring for the viewer!
p.s. That’s not her on the cover—>.
The helpers showed modifications, and no steps were so choreographed that I couldn’t keep up (I have two left feet). I especially like the feature in which you can customize your workout, choosing the order in which you’d like to work out body parts. Cardio, Strength Training and Flexibility are all addressed, so it is very well balanced. The customization option helped my workouts fit my schedule, my mood, and the needs of my body.
This is the ONLY exercise DVD that I always travel with when I go abroad (I have it with me in New Zealand right now!), it always uplifts me, and keeps me feeling fit, energized and positive! Marie Forleo is like having your own personal trainer! Whether you are getting married or not, the Wedding Workout is a must for your fitness DVD collection!

“Not Pleased with the Delivery Services**
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I ordered this DVD 4 days ago (8/22/08), and tracked my order yesterday. It said I was suppose to get it tomorrow, then I checked it again today and now it says I will be getting it in 9-13 days. I called Amazon and they are telling me I will be getting it on 9/10/08, that is 13 days excluding weekends and holidays.
I have ordered other products before and have gotten them on time or earlier on the date that they had on the tracking info. This is the first time they will take twice as long. Disappointed! I pray that it comes sooner.
The customer service people are from India and because I am hard-of-hearing, it was EXTREMELY difficult and frustrating for me to understand them. They started shouting and I cannot understand people shouting. I sense they were mocking me and I know they were not. They do not understand deaf or hard-of-hearing people because their comprehension and enunciation was very poor. It took twice as long to understand each other.
Today (9/5/08) I checked my mail and called USPS about my package, it is still SITTING in Coffeyville, KS they do not have a clue why it is. I did call Amazon to notify them. I did worked for USPS (20 years, retired now) and I am embarrassed by them that they could not give me a better explanation. I also told them that UPS(United Parcel Service)have given good delivery services using the FREE Super Saver Shipping, my packages were delivered on time or earlier. Why did they change delivery services for the FREE Super Saver Shipping? I am stupefied. USPS has always been slow moving. Amazon is telling me to use the paid services (UPS) to deliver faster. What! (fake) Hahahaha!
Finally I received the DVD on September 12, 2008. I checked it out, but I haven’t used it yet. Interesting! I’ll let you know what I think of it with a new review. I hope Amazon doesn’t use USPS again.

This is perfect for me! My previous workout routine was come home, cook, sit down and do nothing. By the blessing of Weight Watchers I only need to lose a couple pounds but really need to tone and this is really working for me. It is easy to follow and the instructor is great – not cheesy at all. The exercises are simple and she explains them well. An advanced person might not be so in to it. The pre made workouts (like for a strapless dress!) are great especially if you don’t know where to start. It tells you which work outs to do everyday. Beginner Brides this is a must have! I’ll probably still use it after my wedding!

This is a great workout for toning. The cardio segment is not quite long enough for me, it’s only 12 minutes long. There is an option where you can customize your workout so you can add more cardio if you desire. I thought this DVD was fun. Maria is a great instructor- motivating and not annoying. She breaks down the moves so even beginners like me can follow along! You can customize it, which is awesome. Great for my upcoming wedding!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I use this DVD, and I love it because the exercises do not feel hard while I am doing them, but they kick my butt later. I am the type of person where my natural instinct kicks in if an exercise is uncomfortable (or hurts!) and I will stop doing it. But I will do tons of work if I won’t feel the pain until later. Sure, I hate myself later, but there’s nothing I can do about it then.
I like to do the programmable workout listed, but to be honest, I prefer to leave the cardio to other videos or to running. The other segments are awesome, including the abs. No crunches! I heard crunches make your muscle bulky, but whether or not that is true, I still hate doing them. This gives me an ab work out while doing things I highly doubted would affect my abs on my first run. I soon learned the error of my ways when I felt my stomach as I went from laying down to sitting up. Yowch!
This dvd manages to keep my attention, but I also think that is partially because I diversify my cardio. I also sometimes do the segments at different times of the day, since I have such a busy schedule. Either way, I enjoy doing it, find them easy to do, but still feel results.

I really enjoyed this video. I didn’t buy it for an upcoming wedding or anything like that. Just looking to get toned for the summer. The steps are very easy to follow and don’t leave me exhausted. You can customize this workout or use the suggested workouts for different target zones. The instructor is great. What I like is that I can select in which order I want to do my exercises, I like to start with abs first and most workouts do abs last it seems. Also, you can decide how much time you want to do, express warm up or warm up and cardio, do upper body, lower body and abs, or only one of them. Or do abs, lower, repeat abs.

I just got my Wedding Workout video in the mail yesterday. I was so excited to try it out. I love how you can customize all of your workouts or just chose one of the pre programed workouts. The arms and legs toning sessions were challenging but didnt leave you overly exhausted. The cardio session was more for beginners but still a great workout. I did not care for the standing abs workout, but the floor abs exercises were better and challenging. Overall, a great investment to have the variety of different workout videos to get the best body fast. I would also recommend the Self series. They are fantastic. I especially like the best butt ever with Violet Zaki and Bikini Ready Fast.

At first I was leary about this workout DVD…it’s so hard to determine by the reviews if it’s the type of DVD you’ll be able to enjoy and keep up with. WELL, this DVD is GREAT! I love it!! It breaks down the workout into short 10-12 minute segments that keep your interest and don’t wear you out. The Power Cardio is AMAZING! I could barely get through it the first time, but now I love the way I feel after! The customizing option is great – you can chose a program they developed, or after you get to know the programs, customize your own! The instructor is good – doesn’t talk too much or say annoying things – she has great energy! My only negative would be the short length of the program….it is great as a supplement to additional cardio, but I couldn’t get the results I was looking for on this program alone. It really did help reshape my body and help build muscle, but until I added additional cardio, I wasn’t dropping weight like I wanted. Great DVD, though! I recommend it!

I Love this workout – you can mix and match segments to suite your needs. The cardio section is not very long, but it’s just enough when you tight on time. ***The only complaint I have about this is the instructor – she can be alittle annoying at times when at the end of a section she does this “AHHH”. She’s just a tad over a top when it comes to sounds. I would recommend this tape anyway because of the segments are good for beginners – and then after a few weeks, add the “Train for your Body Type”, which is alittle tougher.

In general I think that the workout DVDs put out by magazines intend to target beginner or low intermediates. They are not only non-challenging but incredibly boring and sometimes annoying. (Which makes no sense really, because fit women are the ones buying health and fitness magazines). So, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The instructor has much more personality than the ones in the other workouts from Women’s Health. Admittedly, I have to modify to get things more intense, but overall this was pretty decent and the only one worth keeping from the series.

Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is one of those fun, new programmable DVDs where you can mix and match the exercises in the order you want, and even do the same segment more than once. You can customize your workout from the warm-up (4 minutes), power cardio (11 minutes), upper body (12 minutes), lower body (11 minutes), abs & core (11 minutes) and cool-down (3 minutes) The bonus are Love Your Honeymoon (aka Strip 101), Walk Gracefully (posture tips), and Eat Smart (where I learned I should eat like a bear; i.e., salmon, nuts & berries!) The pre-programs come from the customized sections; they include “Strapless Dress” which gives you a week’s worth of suggested exercises focusing on the upper body (3 days of upper body and 2 days of lower body) and “Hip Hugger Dress” which gives you a week’s worth of suggested exercises focusing on the lower body (3 days of lower body and 2 days of upper body.) This DVD is a keeper!

This workout is till now the best I tryed(and I tryed some, believe me). It doesn’t take a lot of time to do it, you can choose what part of the body to work, you are not tiered after that and have energy the next day for other exercises. I saw the results on myself(on that parts of the body I was having troubles to loose weight) and also other people noticed the improves. I highly recomend it because it worked so good for me. The packege arrived quickly and in a very good condition.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product. It takes a lot for workout DVDs to impress me since I have been through so many and I thought it was just going to be another typical workout DVD: bicep curls, lunges, etc. It wasn’t!
The workout is split up into sections: warm-up, cardio, upper body weights, lower body weights, abs, and cool down. The lower body is the section I was most surprised with. It took classical exercises (lunges, squats, and piles), and applied them in a “new” ways. AND my heart rate went way up in this section, which is always good.
The upper body section is similar–doing classical exercises but in new combinations–but not quite as innovative (though still a workout!)
I only gave 4 starts because I didn’t find the Abs section very challenging, but it wasn’t THAT bad.

I was really excited about this DVD when i read all the reviews. I’ve only done it once so far, however overall, i was a little disappointed with it.
I was an avid kickboxer until about a month ago when I strained a muscle in my rotator cuff, so i’ve been looking for a great dvd to do at home that will work up as much of a sweat.. The cardio on this definately had me off to a great start, but then doing the other segments back to back, i just didn’t feel like it ever really gave me the kind of challenge i was looking for.
I’ll definately use this again on days when i’m looking for something not as challenging.. I also invested in Biggest Loser Boot Camp, and that was more the kind of intensity i’m looking for.
Good luck!

The Wedding Workout DVD has become my all time favorite workout video. There are pre-selected workouts for each day of the week or you can create your own workout from the upper, lower, abs/core, and aerobic sections. Each is about 11 minutes long – so you can make it a quick workout or combine several and make it longer. It is nice having somebody tell me what I should be working on each day of the week (Sunday’s are off). I highly recommend this DVD.

I wanted a video to work out with that I could do at the age of 50 and one that would not bore me to death. Having had a heart attack a few years ago, I also wanted one that incorporated a cardio work out. The Wedding Workout video was just what I was looking for. It has six pre-built different workouts for Monday through Saturday and you have the option of building your own custom workout. You can begin with a warm-up, then go into a particular workout, do a power cardio workout and then a cool down. Amazingly, I did 5 of the six days the very first week I had it! I’m looking forward to loosing weight and toning up. Having bought a few videos that I was totally dissatisfied with, this one was well worth my money!

I never had toned arms until this dvd!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought this dvd in preparation for my wedding. I started doing the dvd on and off around March, consistently around May, and I got married in July. I love that you can program your workouts. The arms section and the abs sections are awesome! I had a strapless dress and I really wanted toned arms…something I never had before. I was in good shape with regards to cardio (I do the elliptical 3-4 times a week) but I’ve never had toned arms. I did the arm workout almost every day (it’s only 11 minutes), and by the wedding I had very toned arms and a toned back! I didn’t even do the sit-ups, I substituted more of the free weight isolation exercises. Now that the wedding is over, I use the arm section and the abs section. The abs section is great because it’s not all crunches. This dvd isn’t corny or annoying. I do this dvd in additional to working out on the elliptical. The cardio on the dvd isn’t great…I don’t really like to rely on dvds for a solid cardio workout. I haven’t tried the lower body…I had knee surgery so I’m not sure if I can do all the lunges. Anyway, I strongly suggest this dvd if you want a quick way to get toned arms and abs!

Try Tae Bo or Abs Diet 2 workout for cardio more challenging. I really like the different lifting excercises for upper body. She doesn’t do just the typical curls, pushups (although, those are included). And my upper body is sore today even though I dropped down to my 5 pound weights! I’ve been using 8 pounds with my other DVDs. Also, the ab routine is great!! About 80% of the ab/core workout is standing and yes my abs are sore today!! Well worth the $$!

This workout is not for those of you who want a “hard core” workout. It is a good workout but gets monotonous after awhile. It fulfills it’s promise of getting you in shape for a particular event. I think you might get bored if you use it too long after your event has passed (BTW, not just for weddings!). What I like best is that you can arrange the workouts in the order that you prefer them. It’s also set up so you can get quick workouts if necessary. Overall, a good workout DVD and fairly priced. I would recommend it for beginners or intermediates looking to get in shape quickly.

I bought this workout to tone my body for my wedding. I follow the topless dress workout and it is great. I begin to see results now (especially on arms and shoulders). I’ve been doing it for a month and a half now, but not everyday. The stomach exercises are great – so different from the regular sit ups done one the floor. About half of them done standing up. My only problem is with my sensitive knees, so I don’t do the lower body workout (for this I use the excellent video of Claudia Schiffer Perfectly Fit for lower body) and I do variations for the jumping parts in the cardio sections. The instructor is very motivating, cues well, and comments about the correct position.

Nice easy to follow workout

I love this workout. Would have given it 5 stars if it was a bit more challenging. Still a good workout and easy to stick to.

Ok….

I was actually a little disappointed with this workout – I guess I was expecting more cardio. But for sculpting, it’s great. I also like the fact that you can customize the segments to suit your goals. If you are looking for immediate, significant weight loss, I’m not sure this is the right video. After I lose some weight, it will probably be great for maintenance and sculpting!

Good workout video
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
So far this seems to be a good workout video. I like how you can use the prebuilt workouts or customize your own if you’re running short on time. Some of the exercises take a while to learn all the steps involved but I like it and would recommend it to anyone that’s looking for a shape up video.

Great Quick Workout
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I was a ballet dancer for 13 years but I haven’t danced (or done much of anything) in 5 years. This workout was great to jump back into a healthy lifestyle. Being able to break this video up, I was able to quickly shed unwanted pounds and get back to my thinner, healthier dancer body. This video along with Women’s Health: Train for Your Body Type and 10 Minute Solution: Blast Off Belly Fat on a 4 week rotation, I have never felt or looked better during my post-dance days. This as well as the other two videos were great since I don’t always have more than 45 minutes to workout.

Getting back in shape!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have always been an athlete and into working out but have let myself get out of shape this past year. Now that I’m engaged I really want to get back into shape and look amazing on my wedding day. I started using this DVD and the next day I was so sore. I got a really good workout and am looking forward to working out with this DVD tomorrow. The workouts have a nice pace and flow. I would highly recommend this any brides, bridal parties and anyone looking for a great workout.

Good workout, gets boring after a while.
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I bought this DVD after using SELF video’s, and was a bit discouraged to see that:
1. I have to waste time choosing different segments
2. The strip tease at the end is cheesy.
Other than that, the video wasn’t bad. I just didn’t feel that there was enough intensity in this video and a lot of moves were shown for a short period of time. The music was enjoyable, and the instructor was easy to follow but this video would have been better if there was no start-stop-start segments. After a few times of using this video, I put it down and haven’t picked it up since.

Good home workout when it’s raining
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
The DVD is a good quick workout when it’s either raining outside or you don’t feel like making it to the gym. The cardio is a little lacking but the upper and lower body workout have some good moves that aren’t usually done at the gym.

Prefer interval training
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
This isn’t a bad workout, but it lacks a good cardio workout. If you’re just looking for strength training, this is an okay video. I don’t feel an incredible workout with it though. I use it on my lighter days when I’m not feeling too great but still want to work out.

LOVE IT!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I LOVE THIS DVD it has it all cardio, abs, upper, lower body workouts and it customizes a weekly workout for you based on the kind of dress you have in mind either upper body minded or lower and the cardio moves are so much fun!

Wedding Workout Review
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
The video is very upbeat, but I believe it is made more for beginners, those who have some toning to do but can’t really work on the strenious side. I have used the video for a few weeks but have had to move up. My fiance and I just bought the P90X workout system and it is much better for muscle toning and exercise.

worth trying
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I am not a novice exerciser however I wanted something other than the gym to keep me motivated for my big day. This workout is well paced and challenging but my favorite part is that it can be customized and the menu is set up like a calendar telling you which workouts to do which days of the week. I would recommend this video to others.

Worth the Sweat needed to get through the workout(s). DVD is well done, moved in an understandable format, AND I can see the results!
Can be used even if you aren’t the Bride!

GREAT WORKOUT!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought this DVD about a month ago and it is great. It has different workouts depending on the type of dress you are wearing ( strapless vs hip hugging); they have upper body, lower body, core/ab, and cardio workouts. Its quick , fun and a great workout! HIghly reccommend!

great results
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I’m not getting married anytime soon, I really was just looking for something that would give me results. I’m a mom of a 10-month old and although she keeps me on the go I still need to get rid of the rest of my baby fat. I work out 4 out of 7 days and been doing this program for a little more than 2 weeks. I haven’t seen any results but my boyfriend has. He has been giving me even more compliments than usual. This DVD is great! I love how you can chose a pre-made work out or customize your own, and all the workouts are done in about 40 minutes. The only thing I don’t like about this video is some of the exercises are advanced which makes it a little hard to do all of them.

This video is great. THe cardio may not be too much for someone that works out alot but if you dont it will get you ready for more… This is a great buy you wont regret it.

I LOVED this DVD. Between this, Rodney Yee’s yoga DVDs, and Windsor Pilates Videos – I am set. The best part about this wedding workout is that you can choose what you want to work out each day. I love that you can choose the order. I get bored fast with workout DVDs, but with this one, I can have a new one (a different combination of focus) everyday. I love it!
My absolute Favorite. I get married jext June and I KNOW that I will have the body I want with the help of this great DVD>

Good quick workout
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I ordered this DVD as most people do to tone up for my upcoming wedding. Most of the segments are 20-30 minutes, great for when you are short on time but still want to get a workout in. You can also select which chapters you want to use for a custom designed workout which is great. You do need some light weights in order to do the workouts properly… I have been using books instead of real weights! Will probably get sick of it after a few months but I think that happens with all workout DVD’s!

Great workout – cardio section not great if you’re significantly overweight.
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I ordered this after realizing that I’d gained a lot more weight than I was comfortable with – I thought I’d try some DVDs so that I could embarrass myself in the comfort of my own home.
I watched this DVD before doing any of the exercises, and upon first glance, it looked like everything was totally doable for me. It’s presented well, you don’t spend more than 8-12 counts at a time doing the same exercise at the same speed (I get bored easily – shiny things distract me), and if you want a more intense workout, you just up the amount of weight you use with the exercises. Easy enough!
It takes a small amount of space to do these exercises (I’m 5’8″ and all leg, I kick things, and I have a small living room – all of my furniture remained unscathed during this workout), which is great. The instructions are clear, and the first time any move is done, it’s nothing really surprising, so that you have time to catch up should you not be familiar with whatever a “grapevine” is (like me – I was born in the 80s, folks). I’m not coordinated as I was when I was younger, so sometimes the arm-and-leg moves messed me up a bit, but luckily the warm-up is the only place you really have to worry about that.
I’m doing the upper-body workouts right now, with 2-pound weights, because I can’t find my 3-pound weights – it’s suggested that you use 3- to 5-pound weights, but I’m going to go ahead and say that if you’re someone who’s shoulder strength isn’t quite up to par, go with 2-pounders! I didn’t feel like I’d accomplished anything with them yesterday, for example, but today all of my muscles in my shoulder, upper arm, and chest area are feeling the burn. It’s great – I feel like I’ve actually worked out, because it’s VERY thorough, but I can’t imagine how much more “worked out” I would feel had I gone with my 5-pound weights instead.
Now for the one bad point: the cardio includes jumping jacks. I have wooden floors, bad joints, and I weigh nearly 200 pounds right now, so this wasn’t something I was willing to do. The jumping hurt my knees a bit, and every time I landed, I was afraid of knocking my television off of the stand (even with “soft” landings, where you roll your landing from the ball of your foot to your heel). If you’re like me and are starting this at a point where jumping around, even in a very well-measured way (it made me sad to have to fast-forward through this part, because it looked fun) isn’t such a good idea, I would recommend getting your cardio elsewhere for a while, such as with riding a bike.
I skipped the “Love Your Honeymoon” striptease workout for now, so I don’t have a review for it.
Overall, I would recommend this DVD. There’s a workout for every day of the week (except Sunday…and trust me, you’re going to want that day of rest!), and you can even customize your settings and create your own workout if the ones that are there for you become too predictable.

Fabulous, Quick & Effective Workout!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I wasn’t expecting much from a DVD, but a friend at work had highly recommended this DVD, and she’s in great shape so I figured I’d check it out. The best feature of this DVD is the menu — it allows you to completely customize your workout. You can do a warm up and then one of like 20 routines — which is great for someone like me who gets bored very easily! The moves are easy to pick up and just challenging enough so that you’ll feel them afterwards. I especially like that there are two menus of workouts based on whether you’re wearing a strapless dress (which focuses on the upper body) or a form fitting dress (which focuses on the lower body). A “complete” workout is around 30 minutes, which was perfect – just long enough that you can sneak it in anytime. The girls on the video are upbeat without being annoying, so I never got sick of them like some of those other workout divas who’ve put out DVDs. All in all, this is a great DVD and will definitely help if you do it a few weeks or months before a big event!

Nice Toning Workout
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
While the cardio portion of this workout was a bit light for my taste, I did find that the toning segments were very good. I really liked the new school spins on some of the traditional moves–nice change from the regular old lunges and squats. The instructor is very good too–motivating and upbeat without being annoying. Another great feature: you can customize the workout so you can do whichever sections how ever many times you want. Awesome! Very satisfied with this DVD.

Wonderful workout!!!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
For someone who was virtually sedentary before buying this DVD, I cannot rave about it enough!! After a month of doing the workouts (to be honest, I did them as I could tolerate them), I am now more toned than I have ever been before in my life. My muscle tone is amazing!! I still have two months to go until my wedding, but I am not worried. I feel great now, but I know I’ll feel even better after another two months. Many, many thanks to Marie Forleo (who is inspiring without being too perky) and Womens Health. You have provided me (and many others, I’m sure) with one of the most wonderful workouts ever!! I will definitely buy ANYTHING by Marie Forleo in the future!

good sculpting workout, but cardio not challenging enough!
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
cardio – 3 stars – only 12 mins, rather basic moves, I didn’t break any sweat and definitely didn’t burn ‘tons’ of calories ( I am 5 ft 7, 141 lbs and my Polar heart monitor showed I burned 50 kcal after warm-up and cardio )
sculpting – 5 stars – I could really feel the burn with 4 or 6 lbs weights,
solid workout
