For the money this is a great treadmill. Well made. I prefer the manual treadmill cause you go at your own speed and you are using your body to do it. It has an uphill climb that really gives you a workout. The digital display is great…I am very happy with this purchase…

Not too thrilled

I’m not terribly happy with this treadmill. It is rather “stiff” and it takes considerably more work to get it rolling than I need. I am able to ride my exercycle for 45 mins straight and I dance for two hours straight every weekend so it’s not MY fitness level. At 5’0″ and 120-lbs, perhaps I am simply not heavy enough to force the belt to turn smoothly! Also, when I try to adjust the height of the platform one of the removeable pegs sticks AND it’s incredibly difficult and frustrating to line-up the pegs once they are removed and you adjust the platform height. Overall, I am disappointed.

this is the way treadmills should be. no motors to help you. your’re the motor. great reststance like walking in sand uphill. very sturdy.

I’ve been using this tread mill for a little over a year now and have put over 650 miles on it. No problems with the machine. It really gives you a good work out. The belt still looks like new. I bought it to help control my diabetes and it works great for this. The control center opperates on 2 AAA batteries, which I have not replaced since owning it. I highly recommend it. I’ve owned an electric treadmill that cost me over $400. I didn’t like it nearly as well as this one, and I think I sold it for about $100. With this one, if you decide not to use it (as many people do), you haven’t lost much money if any. Hope this is useful.
