    Almost, but not quite

It seems to be of good quality, for the price, but there’s one thing that it falls short on: the pedal resistance isn’t very hard. It’s ok if you are looking to move your legs around, but if you want to burn some calories or strengthen some muscle, this isn’t the model. Even as tight as I could turn the knob it wasn’t that hard to pedal.

    not worth it

This is so not worth the money. I bought it after our team leader at weight watchers suggested we all try it while watching tv. It was a poor workout, barely did anything. The tension can only be tightened a little and there is no resistance. I should have spent a little more and gotten a better model. I ended up selling this at a yard sale two weeks later for $4. Pass on this particular one.

    Just what the doc ordered

My wife has bad knees and on her last visit to the doc he said if she didn’t take a certain supplement and use an exercise bike 20 mins a day that she will be in a wheelchair in ’bout 10 years. She didn’t want a whole bike becasue it’s too hard on her back, so when she found this, she knew it was just perfect. She can do her exercises while sitting on the couch. It has no tension either and that’s also a good thing for her. She just needs to move her knees not put tention on them. She is very happy with this product.

    a fun cycle ride.

My wife and I were very pleased with our chrome cycle. Easy to pedal and relaxing to use. We normally sit in a comfortable chair and pedal for up to 30 minutes. As seniors, we don’t go to fast but it does keep our joints in better condition. Since we don’t really speed the unit does not move. It was an inexpensive purchase and easy to put away after using. A lot better than purchasing an expensive exercise bike.

I’m disabled and have a hard time getting to the gym. I also live in a cold climate and cannot get outside often. I can use this anywhere in my home. It is great for both the arms and legs. Great product for the price

    Great product for some purposes

Good for a LIGHT workout. I tried it, 15 minutes pedaling while reading. I could tell I worked, because the cranks on the exerciser warmed up a bit (I didn’t). It was nice to be able to just keep my legs moving. Doesn’t work at my computer, it takes a lot of space for the exerciser and legs, not normally found under a computer table.

But I didn’t get it for me, got it for my elderly father.

He can pedal with his arms for 15 minutes without a problem and it does seem to be helping him both mentally and physically.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work with his legs. I think he just doesn’t have enough flexibility, he doesn’t bend his legs much when he walks. Not much flexibility is required since the cranks are short, so it’s not the exerciser’s fault. He ends up pushing on both legs simultaneously and all that pressure seems to hurt his knees. I talked to the physical therapist at the home to see if she could help, she couldn’t, said it’s better for elderly people to stay in bed.

    great arm exerciser

I bought this for my arms, not my legs. I put it on the table and pedal away the stiffness every morning. It is perfect for this and very well constructed. The photo is not very good. It’s actually made of durable one-inch metal, the stops are well made and it doesn’t rock or move at all. Well worth the 15 bucks!
