    desk chair
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I got this big pink ball to replace my desk chair. My posture is the worst and my P.T. recommended this. I had no problems inflating it. I did it in short sessions while doing other things around the house. Pump worked fine. Lost a bit of air inserting the plug as I did it all myself. Overall I’d give it 4 and 3/4 stars. I withheld 1/4 star as I have not used anything that I can compare it to. Using it now (and bouncing!)as I write this!

    Fantastic deal!
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is a fantastic deal. The ball is very sturdy and supports a lot of weight. It comes with the pump and a workout video too. And the workout video had great exercises on it, ones I had never thought to even do. I just got it to stretch out my back (which it works perfectly for), but the workout exercises are an added bonus. I wasn’t expecting such high quality at this price, but this really is a great ball and value deal.

    Pump doesn’t work
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I received this ball two days ago but the pump is faulty so I am unable to inflate the ball. It would be great to get a replacement pump so that I can inflate the ball and start using it. I like the color.

Inflated easily, holds the air – and resists puncture (as my 3 little kids have tried multiple times to “test” its able to resist abuse…. : )

    Ours Burst After a Year..
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I used this ball for about one year.. from the middle of my pregnancy until my son was nearly six months old. The ball was fantastic.. until it burst. My husband was bouncing our son to sleep, something our baby has loved since birth, and the ball suddenly burst and they both fell to the floor. That being said, my husband weighs 230 pounds and the ball may have been a bit underinflated. I was very careful to follow the instructions when I initially filled it and I’d been periodically checking to make sure it was still inflated enough, but I think it was probably a little too soft for my husband’s girth.

So I’d recommend this ball with reservations. It’s really cute and will withstand heavy daily use for a good long time, but be absolutely certain that you check the inflation of it regularly. You don’t want it overinflated OR underinflated. If you can keep the right amount of air in it, it’s a terrific ball.

Note: This ball was actually recalled at some point, I believe because people were overinflating it and the instructions weren’t clear enough about that. Make sure to follow the inflation instructions properly!

    great workout, challenging but comfortable
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I had never used a fitness ball before, but have read recently about the great benefits for core strengthening and flat belly exercises. So, I bought this ball and have been using it 2-3 times a week ever since. It’s a challenge to use, certainly, but what I like most is that even though I know I’m getting a good abdominal workout (including obliques) with the exercises I am doing, I am never sore the next day.

Great ball. I been using it for about a year now. I use it for exercising and sitting at my computer. It is very durable. My kids even get a hold of it and play with it.It is hold up great for all the use it has been getting. Have had to put a little bit more air in it in the years time; no big deal though. Recommended.

    Didn’t exactly burst but
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
This ball was a good size for me, I’m 5’9. It was a very bright pink, looked like a massive pink gumball on my floor.

It lasted a month before my cat seemingly punctured it with a claw and it flattened. So burst resistant? Perhaps. Claw resistant? Not so much. Perhaps this is not a flaw in the design, any other ball MAY of deflated under this circumstance; however, my Gold’s Gym ball from Walmart (not a big fan of wallyworld merchandice overall) has outlasted the puncture wounds. I’ve had it a couple years.

If you have a cat you may as well get the non-bursting ball, if it’s cheaper.

The one I got came with a DVD and it was rather pointless for me, which means I am either very fit and my mobility is fantastic, or it’s just a lousy DVD. For my ego, I’ll go with the first option.

Very nice but saw this elsewhere for about 70% cheaper
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This ball is great. I’m in the final weeks of pregnancy and after I use this ball at my computer-desk for 1hour+, I notice my back feels healthier and better adjusted versus when I use our nice leather office chair.. :) That really impressed me. Also good for doing various stretches for the spine.

The only thing is while I was waiting for this item to be shipped to me, I found the same exact ball at Ross for $9.98 and I suspect for even cheaper elsewhere. I have to worry about saving $ with a baby on the way… So other than being overpriced here, this ball is great!

Strong, Durable, and the right size!
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This ball was exactly what I was looking for. I had one previous to this that was too small (I’m only 5’5″!)and seemed flimsy. This one is nice and thick and seems to be the perfect size for all of my training needs.

    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My pink Valeo Burst Resistant 65cm Body Ball is just the perfect size for me at 5’6. If you don’t have a routine yet, you can just

challenge yourself by simply sitting on the ball while working or watching TV.

Here is a list the exercises that I like to do:

Back Extension, Ball Balance, Butt Lift, Hip Extension, Ab Roll, Ball Rotation, Crunches, Reverse Crunches, Oblique Twists. (You can go on-line to see how each exercise is performed.)

    More bounce to the ounce
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is our second fit ball. The other one was too soft and bouncy…this one is great!!! Very solid feeling, holds air well and fits the bill completely. Both my wife and I use it…I weigh 225 lbs, and it supports we without any problem. The air pump which came with it is a joke…it would take weeks to pump the ball up, using that thing. We have a portable electric tire inflater, and it did the job is less than five minutes. All in all, this fit ball is a great product.

    Great for Exercising!
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I love this ball – I used to kill my back doing sit ups but now I use the ball instead of laying on the floor and it’s great. It doesn’t hurt my back, and I don’t end up with acid reflux from lying flat. I’ve also learned a set of other exercises to do. I’ve had it for almost 2 or 3 years now and it’s still in perfect condition and I only had to inflate it once.

Ball appears to be durable, however, it is not as big as I expected. It serves it’s purpose though.

    Great Seat
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I love this ball – am sitting on it as I type. I only rated it 4 stars because the color is closer to pepto bismol than the bubble gum pink it appears on my computer screen. Be patient in pumping it up, and you will be fine. Oh, and I’m 5’2″. I probably could have used the 55 cm instead, but the 65 cm works.

    I love it!
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I love this ball! The only thing I didn’t like was that it brought a measuring tape (to put around the ball while inflating ball) which it suppose to be fitted around the circumference of the ball when is fully inflated, but it doesn’t. When the ball is fully inflated, the measuring tape still not completely fitted, so it doesn’t help much. But besides that, it still a good ball.

lots of great uses, great price
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I’ve had this ball for several weeks now and it’s been great. I’m using it right now instead of a desk chair. I’m 26 weeks pregnant and have a 30lb two year old and I could feel my back begin to take most of the abuse. Just sitting on it at the computer strengthens my core muscles and has helped a lot. I also use it to do some other stretches and strengthening moves before bed to help keep my back healthy. They are also great for natural childbirth (used one in the hospital with my first) and this one will work great for that too. My mother is a regular at her chiropractor and she says that he sits on one of these while working on his patients (I personally wanted to avoid the chiro but that fact helped me decide to get one for myself). Can’t beat the price.

    Perfect for exercising!
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This item is just what I was looking for. It’s not too big but not too small. I am around 5’1″ and I searched to find the right size exercise ball but kept finding different tips. How did I finally decide on this? I loved the color! But it ended up being perfect! When inflated it is just the right resistance, not too firm but not too soft that I feel like I am sinking in. The only thing I had a problem with is I had to add air a few times until I found the right amount, but I think that is going to happen to everyone who is filling up a ball the first time. Overall this is exactly what I was looking for! I would recommend this for anyone looking for a great exercise ball!

    Valeo Body Ball
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I purchased the ball in order to do the Drums Alive exercise program at home. The pump that came with the ball didn’t work well. It couldn’t inflate the ball to its full capacity. We emailed the company and they sent us a pump that did inflate the ball. At this time the ball seems to be of good quality.

    The picture is flawed
    Rating:2 out of 5 stars
When I ordered this, I thought it was going to be exactly how it was in the picture. I don’t like the material it’s made out of, it’s like bubbly (not sure how to describe it, but it’s not shiny like in the picture), and doesn’t feel very durable. Because of the material, it’s very stretchy and not too firm even though it was inflated all the way. I decided to buy another ball from a different company, and it was much firmer and was made out of smooth, thick material. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s supposed to be burst resistant, but I can see how this ball can be punctured easily. I’m giving this 2 stars rather than 1 because it’s probably ok for doing exercises, but if you want something that’s firm and will last longer, go with another brand.

    Ball of steel
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Not only do I put my entire body weight on this big pink ball, but so do my kids and my wife. Sometimes at the same time. And our aussie likes to chew and chase and claw the ball for exercise. As well as leaping on top of the ball and jumping off of it. This thing has been indestructable for 2 months so far. Well worth the price.

The dogs finally popped it after 11 months… I loved stretching on that thing. Getting a new one today. August 10, 2009

    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have bought this for my pregnancy. There are a zillion ways to use the ball. It’s particularly good for rest or for opening up your hips when the muscles are tight. This ball is super strong. I’ve had a friend who is 215lbs use it too.

    Great Ball
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This ball was a good purchase. GREAT price. It was a pain in the NECK to blow up with the tiny hand pump but once it’s blown up it’s fine. Rolls easily into most corners for easy storage. I love it.

I purchased this for my fiance as a birthday present and she greatly enjoys using it for her sit ups. I do not believe we have used the DVD that came with it at all, so I cannot comment on that. The ball does what its supposed to, it holds its air and she loves the pink color.

a workout to inflate the ball
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
    This ball works great.

The only advice I have is that it took me three days to inflate up the ball (with the manual pump that they provided). It’s easier to inflate the ball if there’s 2 people to coordinate putting the plug in before air leaks out.

    Sturdy ball!

I use this for my chair at work. The last one I had popped. This material is a lot stronger and comes with a convenient tape measure and pump for me to refill if needed.

    Durable and good price
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Overall, I am really satisfied with the quality and durability. I found it to be a big 65cm, I am just shy of 5’4″, but the 55cm is too small for most exercises so I have both and switch between the two. It’s a good buy!

    Great!!
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I read many reviews before making a final decision and I do not regret choosing this body ball. I had no problems with the pump that came with the ball like some reviewers claimed. It is pink and I know some would not like that, but Valeo donates a portion of the purchase to breast cancer research!

    LOVE IT!!!
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I use this daily and it really helps my back. My chiropractor said just a slow bounce for at least 30 seconds helps to exercise the vertebrae. It was a little exhausting to pump up, but once it was plugged, it was fine.

    I would buy this again.
